Genetic diversity analysis of Linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) accessions using RAPD Markers

چکیده
It is important to analyse the degree of genetic variation existing within genome extend base linseed/flaxseed accessions in order preserve, evaluate and use resources accurately successfully. The main aim current investigation was scope spread genomic across different linseed by employing molecular markers (RAPD). DNA 12 amplified with 16 decamer RAPD primers that generated 81 total bands, among which 75 bands were polymorphic 6 monomorphic. Polymorphic band numbers varied from least 2 (OPS-11) highest 10 (OPS-07). magnitude polymorphism ranged 75% 100% all a mean 93.15 % accessions. value Information Content (PIC) 0.133% 0.708% 0.45% for each primer. maximum PIC (0.708) found primer OPS-07 (0.702) OPM-13. OPS-03 showed minimum (0.133). Two clusters -I -II seen cluster analysis depending on data. Cluster-II comprises one accession (IC 564585) highly accession, whereas Cluster-I some sub remaining Jaccard's similarity coefficient 8.2 96.3%. BHU-A BHU-B had (96.3%), followed IC 564605 (96.2%). More divergent discovered be 564585, 564616, 564631, 564622, 564630. provides innovative knowledge breeders germplasm would employed subsequent research improve genotypes.

373 Abstract: This investigation was conducted at the University of wales in 1991-1994. The work described in this paper concerned with the genetic basis of variation in important characters of linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) A 8x8 full diallel cross including reciprocals was carried out using the cultivars Linda, Lidgate, Cristal, Antares, Barbara, Blue-Chip, Norman and McGregor and eight cha...

The archaeological evidence of flax cultivation dates back to >6000 BC and it is considered as one of the oldest and most useful crops. Components of flax have diverse uses. Cultivar development of flax is currently focused on enhancing the oil content and nutritional value to meet the demand of nutraceutical market supply, as an alternate source of fish oil, a rich source of eicosapentaenoic a...
متن کاملagro-morphological traits and microsatellite markers based genetic diversity in indian genotypes of linseed (linum usitatissimum l.)
linseed is an important oilseed and fibre crop predominantly grown in india. the aim of the present research was to evaluate genetic diversity and patterns of relationships among the 58 genotypes through 10 morphological traits and 12 polymorphic microsatellite (ssr) markers. euclidean analysis of agro-morphological traits grouped the 58 genotypes into four clusters of which cluster i was the l...
متن کاملDetermining Genetic Diversity of Some Jute Varieties and Accessions Using RAPD Markers
The genetic diversity of 18 jute genotypes of the two cultivated species Corchorus capsularis L. and C. olitorius L. which include released varieties and collected races, referred to as accessions was evaluated. DNA profiling was generated using sequence independent RAPD markers. A total of 140 scorable loci were observed and a dendrogram was constructed with these markers. The relationship tha...
متن کاملStudy on genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance for agro-morphological traits of linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.)
Twelve hybrids along with their seven parents were subjected to study the genetic variability indicated that genetic material in the present investigation possessed variability which provides sufficient basis for selection by breeder. High estimates of PCV and GCV were obtained for biological yield per plant and seed yield per plant indicated a good deal of variability in those characters signi...
